I hit the jackpot yesterday at the West Virginia Division of Culture and History, website, where I was able to find

• Birth Records for Susan Richardson, Becky’s grandmother and the wife of William Moore
• The marriage records of William H Moore and Susie Richardson

I couldn’t find William’s birth records, but still, what a find!

It did mean I had to reevaluate the name of Susan Richardson’s mother. More grist for the grind…
