Francis Wyman was baptized 24 Feb 1618/19 in Westmill, Hertfordshire, England. […] The two Wyman brothers Francis and John were seventeen and fourteen in 1636 when they immigrated and so probably came with their older uncles,  Samuel Richardson (1602 – 1658) and Thomas Richardson.

Westmill is an English village and civil parish in the East Hertfordshire district of Hertfordshire, with an area of 1036 hectares. A population of 264 was recorded in the 2001 National Census.^[2] It lies just to the south of Buntingford, beside the River Rib.
